● Intellectual Property (IP):
○ Represented one of the top beverage manufacturers in the world before the registry of Trademarks.
○ Appeared before the registrar on a case for a well-known brand Mom Easy.
○ Successfully defended an opposition for the registration of a famous East African Spaghetti brand.
○ Managed a settlement for a Musician from Tanzania on copyright infringement by a well-known US Production House.
○ Assisted a Mobile money transfer company NALA with its Trademarks Portfolio.
○ Assisted a local manufacturer on counterfeit goods raids, destruction, and preparation for a case before FCC.
● Fintech & Digital Economy:
○ Advised PESAKIT, a money lender from Kenya, on its market entry to Tanzania and on corporate and company secretarial issues.
○ Advised and counselled for Taxify (now BOLT) on its market entry into Tanzania.
○ Assisted Maisha Finance on its company agreements for the launch of the mobile transaction loan related app.
○ Assisted one of the Biggest Money Lenders Chipper Cash based in the US on its BOT application.
○ Advised and assisted with the PSP and the ASL licence with the TCRA and BOT for Multigate, one of the global Lenders.
○ Advised and assisted Chippercash on its application for a license to operate a payment system at the Bank of Tanzania as well as TCRA.
○ Advised one of the leading fintech companies in Africa payments, NALA, and assisted them in securing a PSP licence from the Bank of Tanzania.
○ Advised one top fintech companies Aron Group with their payment systems applications before the Bank of Tanzania.
○ Advised Flatterwave, an American fintech company that provides a payment infrastructure for global merchants and payment service providers across the continent, on their market entry to Tanzania and application for a PSP and ALS

○ Advised Nomba on their market entry to Tanzania and application for a PSP Licence.
● Projects, Infrastructure & Local Content:
○ Advised Milembe Construction Co. Ltd on Construction, O&M, and other services contracts using FIDIC Red Book for the Fungoni Mining and Bulk Earthworks project (Strandline).
○ Developed Local Content Plan for Early Civil Works for a class one construction Company under the EACOP (East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline). Also drafted the Local content plan and acted as counsel for Milembe Construction Co Ltd on its bid for Early Civil works tender for the EACOP main Pipeline project.
○ Opined on Planning and consenting advice for onshore gas installations including conventional and unconventional E&P and power generation facilities.
○ Advised on Construction, O&M, and other services contracts relating to oil and gas infrastructure, using LOGIC, FIDIC and other common industry form.
○ Advised GAIA Energy and its Subsidiaries, one of the Biggest African but Moroccanbased Renewable energy, on its SPV Operations in Tanzania.
○ Advised Milembe Construction Co. Ltd on the bid for Construction of exploration Drill sites Access to routes and associated Civil Works (Construction of Access roads to Drilling location Drilling pads Cellar and Associated Civil Works), Ruvu Blocks Tanzania for Dodsal Hydrocarbons & power (Tanzania) Pvt Ltd.
○ Reviewed and Advised on the bid and contract for Provision of Civil enabling works, for the Construction of Access roads, Drilling Location site at Ntorya 2 for M/S Ndovu Resources On behalf of Milembe Construction Co Ltd.
○ Represented one of the Biggest East African Private contractor for Solar Energy and Government Securities Contract on its bidding for TCRA tenders.
○ Opined for a Joint Companies with regards to regulatory approvals and permits for offshore oil and gas activities.
○ Prepared documents for a local contractor under the EACOP project (Labour Management Plan, Stakeholders Engagement Plan, Local Content Plan and many more).
● Corporate & Company Secretarial:
○ Acted as company secretaries and Legal Counsels for Zenufa Laboratories Tanzania Limited and Africure Pharmaceutical LTD.
○ Counseled one of the Biggest Oil Companies in Africa on its incorporation in Tanzania and its bid under the Bulk Procurement System, advising and registered PETROCAM on its bid for listing with the Crude oil bulky procurement system under PPRA.
○ Worked with Yutong Bus, a Chinese-based company on its buses hire purchase agreement with local companies.
○ Advised clients on the purchase and leasing of real estate, purchase and sale of businesses, general corporate matters and employment matters.
● Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
○ Advised a global company on a multi-million dollar acquisition of a biggest spread business in Tanzania.
○ Advised KKR (KKR.N) for 6.83 billion euros ($8.04 billion) as part of its acquisition of Unilever spread business in Tanzania.
● Dispute Resolution & Litigation:
○ Successfully represented a client (Musician) against a large movie production company from the United States of America.
○ Defended a broad variety of complex business litigation, including disputes involving the real estate, corporate and partnership law, construction law, employment, sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
○ Represented Milembe Construction Company in Arbitration Proceedings against the leading News paper in Tanzania.
● Real Estate & Property:
○ Involved in a lot of real estate purchases for companies in Zanzibar and Tanzania.
○ Assisted NGE maendeleo on the acquisition of a plot and the project for building the first Rugby field in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
○ Assisted a Hotel Chain in Zanzibar in acquiring land, registering through ZIPA and getting the required licences.
