Irene Abia Urassa is a registered and practicing advocate of the High Court in Tanzania with over 7 years of expertise in the legal field. A diverse and multi-faceted professional who combines knowledge and experiences in Negotiation, Corporate Law, Contract Management, Business Relationship Management, and Strategic Planning.

She has been involved extensively with banks and microfinance banks to facilitate regulatory compliance, loan facility agreements, security perfections, due diligence and recoveries.  Among the financial institutions worked with include NCBA Bank, KCB Bank and EFC Microfinance Bank to mention but a few.

In the field of corporate law, she has advised a multitude of clients on matters of corporate compliance, contract management, negations and settlement. That together with implementation and advisory on Intellectual Property protection laws. In addition to that she has served as Legal advisor on establishment of digital lending platforms that operate across East Africa, involving multinational financial agreements covering a merging and alignment of financial rules and regulations of varying jurisdictions.

She has  acquired a wealth of experience working with a diverse clientele both local and international over the span of her career thus far and is committed to providing tailor made solutions for clients and ensuring each service is tackled with transparency, commitment and competency.
